Fall mini sessions are short and sweet — just enough time to capture golden hour magic without wearing out the kids (or your partner). But since they move quickly, a little prep goes a long way toward making the experience smooth and enjoyable.
Start with a color palette that complements fall — think rust, cream, olive, or soft neutrals. Avoid bright neons or busy logos that might take the focus off your family’s faces.

Arrive at least 10–15 minutes before your session. Minis are tightly scheduled, and arriving early gives your crew time to settle and shake off any pre-photo jitters.
Pack a small bag with:
✔️ Wipes, snacks, and water
✔️ Hair brush or lint roller
✔️ Neutral blanket or prop (optional but cute!)
✔️ Comfy walking shoes for getting to the location
Remind your kids (and partner!) that it’ll be fast, fun, and all about capturing real moments. Let go of perfection — those in-between laughs and cuddles always end up being favorites.
Let me handle the posing, lighting, and magic — you just focus on enjoying your people. The best photos always come from connection, not perfection.
